## One line
DailyDoseBox is a 7-day pill organizer that texts your family when it has not been opened.

## The product
A black weekly organizer with a smoked lid holding seven removable day pods
(Sunday through Saturday), each with a morning and an evening compartment.
Passive, patent-pending technology inside the case runs on standard AAA
batteries and detects one thing: whether the box was opened. Nothing to pair,
charge, tap, or learn.

A separate Alert Base plugs into any standard wall outlet and joins the home
Wi-Fi. It is the only part that connects to a network. Opening the box during the
daily window is the whole check-in: the Alert Base glows green and, on a normal
day, nobody is texted.

If the box stays shut past the window, DailyDoseBox escalates in order:
1. The Alert Base chimes in the room, then gets louder.
2. It texts or calls the person who takes the medicine.
3. Only then does it text or call the family or caregivers on the list.

You decide how assertive it is, from a soft chime to a loud alarm, and how long
it waits at each step. It can stop at the chime and never involve anyone else.
Today's pod pops out and goes wherever the day goes; reply FORGOT, SNOOZE, or
AWAY by text or in the app when real life changes the plan.

## Honest by design
- A daily check-in aid for peace of mind, not a medical device. It does not
  diagnose, treat, or dispense, and it is not a substitute for professional
  care or an emergency service.
- It reports that the box was opened, not whether a dose was taken. We believe
  that is the right amount of information: reassurance, never surveillance.
- No camera. No microphone. The box knows whether it was opened, and that is
  all anyone sees in the app.
- An optional geofence reminder runs on the caregiver's own phone, and that
  location never leaves the phone. The organizer and Alert Base do not track
  location.

## Technical notes
- Organizer: standard AAA batteries, battery level shown in the app with
  notice long before they run out. Rated -4 to 122 F (-20 to 50 C).
- Alert Base: standard wall outlet via the included USB wall adapter, plus
  2.4 GHz home Wi-Fi. Tones or spoken reminders, volume from soft to extremely
  loud. Indoor, -4 to 104 F (-20 to 40 C). One Alert Base supports 20 or more
  organizers in a home.
- The organizer talks to the Alert Base over a long-range radio built for this
  job. It is not Wi-Fi and not Bluetooth, which is why the organizer needs no
  pairing with a phone and why its batteries last. It reaches across a
  typical home, so the organizer can sit in any room with the Alert Base
  plugged in anywhere in the house.
- Caregiver app for Android and the web, with iPhone to follow. The person
  taking the medicine needs no app.
